A few weeks ago, I enrolled in a ‘how to get a publishing contract‘ course on Facebook. I know! Dumb. I thought that as well.
Turned out to be very interesting. And, I’m getting a lot of interest in my book, not real agents or publishers with contract offers though.
Anyway … the strongest memory for me is this quote:
Publishers will insist that there be at least one decision made on every page.
My addendum: I don’t think they mean do you want coffee or tea? But I could be wrong.
In my filing cabinet, physical and digital, I have mountains of Ebooks I wrote to use when tutoring. Only one version is gathering dust. The other is just taking up space.
